It could say six hundred rounds per second, but that doesn't mean it has six hundred rounds in the clip.

For example, I forget it's name, but there is a sub-machine gun that supposedly shoots 1200 rounds per second in full-auto mode. However, the gun only holds 120 bullets per magazine.

However, if that is a beginning gun, I doubt it fires as fast as 600 rounds/sec.

Why's that? Just because you can spray your entire magazine in half a second doesn't mean you can control it. If that was the starting weapon, that would be a good way for the developers to teach players how to use trigger control to burst their shots and make the auto count.

To paraphrase a certain rapper: "Snipin' ain't easy".

If you think it's all about lurking in one spot waiting for "easy" kills you are sadly mistaken. A *true* sniper is not only known for their high frags, but also for their low deaths. As a sniper it's alot easier to kill than to live, and it takes hella skill to do both very well.

My concern with a sniper class is that snipers are very situational and their success and even necessity are largely governed by the environment. Hopefully Webzen adds other functionality to the sniper (ie. recon activities, demolitions etc.). It's a way to give snipers a role even in non-sniping friendly environments. BF2 failed in this area, but i'm happy to say that ETQW has it in spades(at least in the Beta so far...)

I'm not gonna sniper if the game plays like Unreal tournie games,I can't snipe in them for @$#$ so I beleive I might all out on the enemy with a Assault rifle!

Lol, i know this is kinda of a dead thread but i had to add my view on it. I would be sniper, BUT, if you look at the skill tree, (the name of the site escapes me), you can have many skills equiped at the same time including cloaking, sprinting, radar, and enemy approaching warning system. so i would be phantom with a close range weapon. Imagine, cloaked with a shotgun, doest get any beastier than that .
